About Us
Mission
Las Montañas Preschool, LLC provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Our teachers are dedicated to offering a high quality early childhood education, that uses developmentally appropriate activities, to build a foundation for lifelong learning. Through hands-on play and learning, each child’s emotional, social and academic qualities will be enhanced.
Goals

Teachers
Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced. Our head teacher is certified in Arizona in Elementary Education with a Spanish-bilingual endorsement and a Master of Education in Psychology. She has taught 3rd grade bilingual, 4th grade bilingual and preschool in the Tempe Elementary School District. Our second teacher is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and has previous experience working as an assistant in a school program.
Teacher/Child Ratio
Las Montañas Preschool, LLC has the best teacher/child ratio in the area! Our class size is a maximum of 6 children with two teachers. Our teacher/child ratio is 1:3.
Parent Involvement
Parents are welcome to assist in the classroom and are encouraged to participate at any time.
Lunch & Snack
A nutritious lunch and snack will be provided each day. A monthly menu will be included in our newsletter (also available online).
Curriculum
Las Montañas Preschool curriculum is aligned with the Arizona State Early Childhood Standards and follows the NAEYC guidelines. The curriculum includes:
